A student at Confederation College has recently been featured in the limelight for pursuing their hopes and dreams despite the entire world seemingly being against young minds, progress, and creativity. With a steady increase of people worldwide who believe reading is a waste of time and have troubles breathing without a reminder, it’s become harder and harder for young adults to feel encouraged about bettering themselves. “So what if people who are over 75 and are obsessed with making things worse for others before they go out have control of nuclear launch codes?” asked the student, passion sparkling in their eyes. The course the student was taking has since been closed due to cuts in educational funding, but we at Channel 0 News didn’t have the heart to inform them during our interview.
